Who is East Coast Grappling
East Coast Grappling was founded by Prof. Dana Dickeson in 2023. Dana began teaching BJJ in NB in 2007 long before its popularity explosion. Dana was the 2nd ever BJJ black belt in New Brunswick and has been a pioneer and advocate of the sport in Atlantic Canada for 15 years.
Our Mission
At East Coast Grappling our mission is to grow and develop BJJ and Grappling through high competition standards and developmental events. We are committed to safety, fairness, and fun.
Our Team
ECG is made up of dedicated staff and volunteers that play a vital role in our events. We are all BJJ people with a love for the sport and art as our primary motivation.
